| Charles L. Stroud ('54) passed away October 22, 2008. He was a retired minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having served in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. He and his wife, Lois, also served as missionaries in Korea for 7 years and acted as Arrowhead Campground managers on the West Texas District for 8 years. He was a resident of Duncan, Oklahoma. | Billy Joe Harris ('57) passed away April 7, 2008. He was married to Wanda Rutledge. He served in the Army and then attended Bethany Nazarene College. While in college he served as the athletic director and the yearbook editor. Mr. Harris taught in western Oklahoma and then was the Director of Accreditation for the Oklahoma State Department of Education for 25 years. He finished his education career as a school superintendent in 2002. He was a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. (1/09) |
| Ruth (Pierce, '58) Parker attended BNC from January 1954 until December 1957, majoring in Speech and Drama. Her education was put on hold because of family obligations and raising three children. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in March 2008. She received a degree in Religious Studies from Emerson Theological Institute in Oakwood, California. Ruth lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She is now working on her Masters degree in Religious Studies. (9/08) |
