Southern Nazarene University and the South Central Region, Church of the Nazarene are full partners in Christian Higher Education and the work of the Church in each local community. To that end, the Office of University Advancement and Church Relations provides opportunities throughout the year to hear gifted speakers present workshops and seminars on current issues and relevant topics that will challenge and equip our Regional pastors and lay leaders. Traditionally, a Sermon Planning Workshop is held the first or second Monday of January and a Fall Training Event is held in September of each year. In addition to these on campus training opportunities, SNU Faculty members regularly provide training on specific subjects across the Region at district gatherings and continuing education workshops.
