Student Opportunities
The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities provides opportunities for students to study in Washington D.C., Egypt, England, Russia, Latin America and other locations around the world. Local internships are also available in political offices, which often leads to employment. Some class offerings, such as The American Southwest, the New England study tour, and Tropical Environmental History include on-site visits to enhance study.

Career Choices
Completion of a degree program in history enables students with good academic records to enter graduate study in history, political science, law, international relations, anthropology and the like. In addition, the study of history provides students with scholarly abilities and habits, which are excellent preparation for diverse careers. Graduates of the department have external careers in the military, church ministry, law, social service, business, civil service, politics, and secondary or college teaching.
