6. APPEALS

Examples of unusual circumstances are: personal injury, illness, or death of an immediate family member. An appeal must be in writing to the Director of Financial Assistance and within 30 days of the suspension notice. The Director will review the appeal and with advice from the financial assistance committee determine whether the suspension is justified. The student will be advised in writing of the decision.
