The Messengers is a volunteer group of about 20-25 students who volunteer their time to weekend ministry in local Nazarene churches. Their ministry covers SNU's entire educational region: Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The Messengers minister to teens through drama, teaching, preaching and vocal ministry. They also have a recently added children's ministry. They are funded by love offerings from the churches to which they minister, and there is no minimun financial commitment required to schedule The Messengers.

A normal weekend for The Messengers may look like this:

Emphasis on: Presence Evangelism
Meal/Fellowship Together (get aquainted with the teens)
Wild & Crazy Games of various types (including some to encourage growth)
Praise and Worship
Drama Presentation
Devotional Time

[Sunday (am)]
Teach the Teens and Children's Sunday school classes
Lead the congregation into a blended worship style
Perform a drama presentation
Special Songs(offertory, etc.)
Provide the message
