Ayres/Southall Family Memorial Scholarship – Strings
- Established by Shirley N. Pelley, Michael Pelley, Cynthia Pelley & Kathy Pelley Evans
- Available to Freshman with a minimum 23 ACT score
- Upper-division students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Applicants must have a proficiency in area of stated interest
- Applicant must be completing a degree in the SNU School of Music and involved in an official performance ensemble

Bell, Jean Memorial Scholarship – Keyboard
- Established and funded by Rev. James Bell, husband; and Kathy Bell Harris, daughter; friends and extended family
- Provides a $1,000 annual award to an outstanding music major with a piano emphasis
- Recipients are selected by an audition process which includes the following criteria:
[1] A written application to the Chair, School of Music; deadline of March 15 for the following fall;
[2] Selection based on a spring audition conducted by at least two members of the piano faculty, with audition consisting of two standard piano works, memorized and of contrasting stylistic character, not to exceed 15 minutes total;
[3] Excellence in performance ability shall be principal criterion
- Seniority in the degree program and financial need will be secondary considerations

Bethany Piano Teachers OMTA Scholarship
- Funded by local-area piano teachers & SNU music alumnae

Byron, Ruth Taylor Memorial Scholarship
- Established through the Estate of Ruth Taylor Byron, professor emeritus
- Provides funds for upperclassman with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and a 3.5 GPA in Music Theory classes taken during their previous two semesters

- Provides a single $1,000 award to upper division music major with a minimum 3.0 GPA

- Provides scholarships for upper division music majors or minors who are members of the SNU Concert Chorale or its successor ensemble, exhibiting financial need and who exemplifies SNU's motto of "Character-Culture-Christ"

- Provides general awards to students majoring in music, or music education

Hale, Mr. & Mrs. John Memorial Scholarship – Voice
- Established by the operatic baritone, Robert Hale, son
- Provides a $1,000 award to an outstanding music major with a vocal concentration
- Recipients will be selected by an audition process that includes the following criteria:
[1] Only upper division major majors with a concentration in voice may apply
[2] A written application to the Chair, SNU School of Music; deadline of March 15 for the fall semester
[3] Recipients are selected by a spring performance audition consisting of standard works, memorized, in three languages, not to exceed 15 minutes total
- Vocal talent and demonstrated progress shall be the primary basis for awarding the scholarship.
- A recipient may receive the scholarship more than once
- Awarded in $1,000 increments
Hale, Robert W. Strings Scholarship
- Funded by a Centennial Benefit Recital by SNU alumnus, Robert W. Hale
- Provides a $1,000 award to an outstanding music major with a strings concentration
- Recipients will be selected by an audition process that includes the following criteria:
[1] Only upper division music majors with a strings concentration may apply
[2] A written application to the Chair, SNU School of Music, audition convened by the Chair of the School of Music and Strings faculty
[3] String talent and demonstrated progress shall be primary basis for selection
[4] Recipients must participate in an annual audition performing works from different musical periods, with selections to be chosen with the assistance of the Strings instructors
- A student may repeat the scholarship more than once
Harris, John M. Hymnody Memorial Scholarship
- Established by Mrs. Cynthia Harris Ingersol, granddaughter
- Restricted to Junior or Senior level students pursuing a “Music with Ministry” degree track

- Provides awards to single marital status junior or senior year students, with a preference for females who are graduates of an Oklahoma high school
- Recipients must be a "serious" student in the performing arts who are maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Strong, Roger & Ann Strings Scholarship
- Established and funded by Dr. & Mrs. Roger Strong
- Provides aid to gifted strings students participating in the SNU Strings Program
- Eligibility is restricted to freshman music education majors with an emphasis in violin, viola, cello or string bass
- Candidates must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0; with
[1] a "rating" of 1 at District and State Music Contests during the high school senior year, or
[2] having participated in their state's All-State Orchestra
- Recipients must enroll is applied string lesson on their instrument, and in SNU's chamber orchestra and the full orchestra each semester they receive this scholarship
- Renewal after the first semester required a minimum 3.0 GPA in their first semester music courses

Terrell First Nazarene Music Ministry Scholarship
- Funded annually by a gift from the Terrell (TX) First Church of the Nazarene, with a first preference to music majors preparing for a career as a Minister of Music
- If candidates are not available, the grant may be awarded to individuals preparing to be a minister, evangelist or missionary in the Church of the Nazarene
- Recipients may repeat through their undergraduate career
