| Peer Tutoring is available for many courses. The tutors provide individual assistance to anyone seeking to supplement classroom instruction. The students who serve as tutors are familiar with the skills and materials which can help you in such ways as learning how to find key ideas in texts and lectures, preparing for and taking tests, doing research and writing papers. Tutors are generally expected to have already passed with above average GPA's the courses that they are tutoring. Because they are strong students themselves, they are able to demonstrate good learning techniques you might be missing in your own preparation. |
