Student Opportunities
While freshman or sophomores, students are given the opportunity of experiential learning. The "Introduction to Education Lab" places students in high school, junior high school, or elementary school classrooms as an observer. In the course, Foundations of Education, students are placed in additional laboratory experiences. Additional observation experience will also be available in other Professional education courses.

During their senior year, students will devote one semester to two public school teaching assignments. This practical approach to teacher preparation compliments the solid knowledge base to more fully prepare students for the teaching profession.
