Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges® (Who's Who) is a prestigious and highly recognized national honor in which SNU has nominated students to represent this institution since the Who's Who program's inception in 1934.
To be eligible for inclusion in the selection process, students must...
- ...complete a Degree Check Summary (sent via regular mail in the fall toward the beginning of the academic year)
- ...be sure the degree check is ON FILE with the Office of the Registrar no later than Monday, October 6, 2008. We use this document to confirm you are planning to graduate by August 2009.
- ...be a traditional student and have completed at least 90 credit hours to date.
- ...have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 for ALL college credit (including transfer credit) to date.
- ...be considered a well-rounded leader in academics, spiritual life, and co-curricular activities.
- ...be a student in good standing with the Offices of Student Development and Academic Affairs.
Once students who meet all of the criteria above are identified, a ballot is created for members of the senior class and faculty to vote for their preferences (similar to a U.S. general election primary). This vote will take place through MySNU on dates publicized by the Office of Academic Affairs. The results of this vote are tabulated and sent to a meeting of the Who's Who Selection Committee made up of non-senior students and faculty members from across campus. This committee will select up to 5% of the total number of traditional students in the senior class.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Academic Affairs via email reply or phone (491-6304).
