Jason has been an instructor in the Kinesiology Department since 2016. Jason is currently undergoing coursework to earn his PhD in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University. Before coming to Southern Nazarene University Jason worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for 6 years. Additionally, Jason holds a certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS). Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisha and two daughters, Lakyn and Jadyn. We also have two dogs, both named Champ. The dogs were named before my wife and I met and it was a coincidence that they were given the same name. As you may suspect, that makes it confusing when we call either one of them by name. One dog is a golden retriever and the other is a boxer/lab mix. They both enjoy getting outside and camping, hiking, or simply taking our dogs on a walk.
