October's guest speaker is Wakita D Oliver, Employee Development Manager at Tinker Air Force Base.

Ms. Wakita D. Oliver, Employee Development Manager within the 72d FSS/FSDEB Curriculum Development and Delivery office, serves as the Program Manager for the Employee Enhancement Program (EEP), LeaderShift Program, Tinker AFB New Employee Orientation (NEO), and the Mental Health First Aid(MHFA) Program at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, OK. She began her civil service career in 2016 and transitioned to civilian training in 2017. Prior to her civil service career, Ms. Oliver was the Assistant Director of Financial Aid within Professional and Graduate Studies at Southern Nazarene University.

As Employee Development Manager, Ms. Oliver directs the use of monetary resources, ascertains the professional development needs for civilian and military members, and strategically monitors program success to ensure milestones are met throughout the length of the program.

Ms. Oliver is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University, where she received her graduate degree in Business Science. Ms. Oliver serves as the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence (PACE)lead facilitator, Franklin Covey Certified Facilitator, John Maxwell Team Certified Speaker and Leadership Coach, True Colors Certified Facilitator, Master Resiliency Trainer,  and a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)Certified Instructor.
