Speaker Bio

Bobby Gruenewald serves as Pastor, Innovation Leader at Life.Church and is the Founder and CEO of the YouVersion Bible App, which has been installed on more than one billion devices and in every country of the world. He is passionate about exploring new ideas and finding practical ways to leverage them for the global Church. Under his leadership, Life.Church has created a suite of free tools for church leaders including Open resources, an online library of sermons, ministry resources, and ideas. As one of the leading voices in the Church on innovation and the use of technology, Gruenewald frequently writes and speaks on the topic, and has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, NBC Nightly News, TechCrunch, CNN, CBS, Stanford Business Magazine, and more. He was also named to Fast Company’s list of the Most Creative People in Business and was honored by his alma mater, Southern Nazarene University, with an honorary doctorate. Prior to joining the Life.Church team in 2001, he started and sold two technology companies as well as served in advisory capacities for various startups and venture capital funds. Gruenewald and his wife, Melissa, live in Edmond, Oklahoma with their four children.

Speaker Bio

 Steve DeNeff currently serves as Senior Pastor of College Wesleyan Church in Marion, IN. On the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University, the church is an inter-generational congregation in an academic setting that exists within a city that is economically and educationally strained. College Church partners with community leaders to reverse the spiritual, economic and educational gears that contribute to poverty. In addition to being a frequent contributor to Wesleyan periodicals, Steve travels extensively as a speaker to conferences, camps and retreats, and is active in the training and development of new ministers. His books include WAY OF HOLINESS, MORE THAN FORGIVENESS, SEVEN SAVING GRACES, and SOULSHIFT: The Measure of a Life Transformed, and most recently, FAULT LINES. Pastor Steve earned his B.A. and M.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University where he also received an honorary doctorate in 2003. For over 30 years, he has been the lucky husband of Lori and is the father of two adult children and two wonderful grandchildren.
