Dr. Casey Cassidy

Biography
Casey Cassidy is an experienced registered nurse, nursing educator, and academic leader with a background in medical-surgical and intermediate care clinical practice, higher education, and healthcare simulation. She began her career as a Staff RN at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City and has since served as nursing faculty at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, Southern Nazarene University, and Oklahoma City University.
During her teaching tenure, Casey taught undergraduate and graduate nursing and served in several leadership roles, including the Director of a simulation center, Associate Dean, and Interim Dean. She has been a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) since 2018 and has served as a nursing accreditation site visitor since 2023. Casey is also a contributing author to two nursing textbooks and serves on Metro Technology Centers’ pre-nursing advisory board.
Outside of work, Casey enjoys camping and hiking, road trips, reading, sewing, and participating in mission work.
