Biography

Dr. Wesley C. Lee is the Director of Graduate Programs in Counseling and Psychology. He previously held several key positions at Southwestern Christian University, including Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs, Chair of the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Professor of Psychology. Dr. Lee is also Professor Emeritus at Southern Nazarene University, where he taught for two decades before returning in July 2025. A dedicated lifelong learner, he has held or holds professional credentials in diverse fields such as nuclear reactor operation, industrial firefighting, psychotherapy, behavior analysis, and marriage counseling. He serves as the Honorary President of the Association of Cognitive Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology (APCPC), collaborating with a research team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health specialists to publish research studies, textbooks, and present seminars to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. His wife of 44 years, Esther, is also a university educator.
