Nicole Thompson’s healthcare journey began 19 years ago as a certified nurse assistant on the oncology unit at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. After earning her RN in 2012, she transitioned to the ICU, where she served for the next 10 years. Nicole later worked as a school nurse in Mid-Del Schools while continuing her education, ultimately earning her BSN. She then taught high school students in a CNA program at a local career technology center, discovering her passion for teaching the next generation of healthcare providers.

Nicole recently earned her MSN in Nursing Education and is excited to join Southern Nazarene University. She is grateful to serve in an environment that integrates faith and learning and looks forward to contributing to SNU’s mission of preparing compassionate, Christ-centered nurses.
