Hello! We are honored that you are considering auditioning for the 2024 SNU Honor Band. Please submit this application, including a link to your video audition and a non-refundable $10 application fee, no later than Sunday, March 18th. If selected to participate, you will be notified on or before Monday, April 1st. The honor band is open to any high school or homeschooled band student.
This year’s guest conductor is Dr. Phil Moore, retired Director of Bands at SNU.
The honor band will take place on Saturday, April 20th, in Herrick Auditorium on the SNU campus. Registration begins at 8:15 am. Rehearsals will take place throughout the day, and the concert will be at 7 pm.
On this form, you will provide a link to a YouTube video of your audition. The video should be 2-3 minutes long and should demonstrate both technical and lyrical playing, which can be from the same piece or separate pieces. You may use All-State or Coda music for this audition.
After submitting your audition video link, you will be directed to a link to pay the $10 application fee.
