Renew Counseling Center Back in East Imel After Major Renovations
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Bethany, OK – Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is pleased to announce that Renew Counseling Center has moved back into its East Imel Building location at 6710 NW 43rd Street in Bethany following renovations this summer. The Renew Counseling Center at SNU is now ready to receive clients at East Imel, effective September 29, 2025.
The renovations included the entire second story of the building, connecting the two sides of the building and ensuring safety and security for both clients and clinicians. The renovations also provided more office space, enabling Renew to have a greater capacity to serve the community.
“We at Renew are really thankful to the donors who made our renovations happen, along with SNU Facilities, Operations, and many others,” says Renew’s Executive Clinical Director, Holly Sapp. “And we are especially thankful to get to serve you all!”
Renew Counseling Center is a holistic well-being clinic that offers counseling services to the SNU community and the general public. It also serves as the primary training facility for students in SNU’s Graduate Programs in Counseling Psychology.
Students pursuing their Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) complete one semester of in-house clinical training at Renew during their second year in the program. Select third-year students also have the opportunity to complete their internships at the Renew Counseling Center.
Renew offers group and individual therapy options at various price points. The counseling center has over 50 clinicians with experience levels ranging from Psychologists to master’s-level interns. Renew also hosts regular continuing education opportunities for community clinicians.
