SNU Unveils Interactive Heritage Wall
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[Bethany, OK] - On Tuesday, April 7th, Southern Nazarene University will officially open its new Heritage Wall on the east side of the ground floor of the Webster Commons at 11:45 a.m. Students, alumni, and employees are invited to celebrate this exciting addition to campus, explore its interactive features through a digital scavenger hunt, and enter a drawing to win free SNU merchandise.
Blair Spindle, Associate Vice President for Christian Community, emphasized the significance of the new wall in a message to students, saying, “We are extremely excited to introduce the Heritage Wall in the Commons. This is an interactive tool designed to connect students and alumni to the past as well as celebrate the current year. Our SALT, SNU Historian, and Arrow teams, including Natali Awasarmal, Hailey Hunt, Qaali Ali, and Olivia Shadid, as well as our SNU Facilities team members, have done an incredible job designing and building this wall. We also extend special thanks to an amazing donor who made this vision possible.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the wall starting at 11:45 a.m., explore historic content, and share feedback. Any corrections or observed errors may be submitted to commlife@mail.snu.edu. SNU SALT team leaders will be continually adding BPC, BNC, and SNU yearbooks from past years, allowing students, alumni, and friends of the university to enjoy and explore SNU’s rich history through photos.
Join us on April 7th to celebrate SNU’s legacy, connect with the past, and experience this innovative and interactive feature firsthand.
