Southern Nazarene University Announces Business Partnership with CLEET

[Bethany, Okla.] — Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is pleased to announce a new business partnership with the Council on Law Enforcement Education & Training (CLEET) designed to expand access to higher education for Oklahoma law enforcement professionals through SNU’s Professional & Graduate Studies programs.
The partnership creates educational opportunities for eligible CLEET cadets and employees. Through the agreement, SNU will recognize the CLEET Basic Peace Officer training completed at the K.O. Rayburn Training Center in Ada, Oklahoma, for academic credit hours toward eligible SNU bachelor’s degree programs.
In addition, eligible CLEET employees, including commissioned and civilian employees, will receive access to SNU’s Tuition Advantage Benefit (TAB), providing a per-credit-hour discount toward applicable SNU Professional & Graduate Studies programs running from bachelor’s to graduate-level programs.

CLEET provides training and regulatory oversight for Oklahoma peace officers and other public-safety licensees. The agency’s mission is to support excellent training and professionalism among Oklahoma’s peace officers and public-safety professionals.
SNU’s Professional & Graduate Studies programs are designed for working adults and offer flexible online and evening learning options in fields including business, psychology, education, healthcare, counseling, leadership, and more. SNU’s current Professional & Graduate Studies offerings include undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs designed to help adult learners continue their education while balancing professional and personal responsibilities.
