Gresham Prayer Chapel
Honoring Dr. Loren & Linda Gresham
Celebrating a lifetime of leadership, faith, and service to SNU
Dr. Loren Gresham dedicated fifty years of service to Southern Nazarene University, from 1967 to 2017. He began his career as a professor of political science, later advancing to provost, and ultimately serving twenty-eight years as University President.
Throughout his tenure, his wife, Linda, worked faithfully alongside him, offering unwavering support to SNU students and fostering a deep commitment to the university’s mission. Her leadership began the New Student Institute that continues to welcome new students to campus each fall. Together, they led with a vision to ensure that SNU remained aligned with the Church of the Nazarene and steadfast in its mission of making Christlike disciples through higher education.
Gresham Prayer Chapel
In honor of the Greshams’ profound legacy and their lifelong dedication to SNU, the Gresham Prayer Chapel will provide an intimate, sacred space dedicated to individual and group prayer – a place for those “altar moments” where lives are transformed.
More than a building, the Gresham Prayer Chapel will stand as a lasting testament to SNU’s unwavering commitment to Christ-centered education and its transformational impact for generations to come.
