February's guest speaker is Ms. Ashleigh Robinson, Development Manager at Bethany Children's Health Center

February Topic: Teal Colored Glasses

Ashleigh Robinson is a lifelong Oklahoman and fierce advocate for Danielle, her younger sister with Down Syndrome. Ashleigh attended Edmond Public Schools, received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Oklahoma City University, and earned a professional certificate from Cornell. She is a graduate of Oklahoma Partners in Policymaking and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class XX. In 2021, she was crowned Miss Oklahoma and competed at the 100th Anniversary Miss America pageant. She has been widely recognized for her leadership, receiving accolades such as the 405 Magazine HER Award, the Journal Record Under 40, NextGen Under 30, and the Advocate Award from The Arc of Oklahoma.

Her board service spans many community organizations, including Goodwill Central Oklahoma, Friends of the Oklahoma History Center, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Authority. Ashleigh loves her church - St. Luke’s in downtown Oklahoma City, where she leads in traditional services on Sunday’s and mentors high school students on Wednesday's.

In her professional life, she has been an Oklahoma City Public School teacher, government relations liaison, and she currently works at Bethany Children’s Health Center, raising funds and awareness for the hospital. In her free time, she travels and takes boxing classes.
