SNU Graphic Design Major Lauren Force Wins an OKC Ad Club Addy Award

Lauren Force, a graphic design major, won a bronze Addy award on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at
the 10th District OKC ADDY Awards Gala. Her “Forever Green” botanical soap design won in the
Integrated Brand Identity Campaign category.

The formal event was held at the Criterion theater in downtown Oklahoma City with an
attendance of 300 or more. The SNU Graphic Design department has entered students in the
competition for the past eight years, and each year a SNU student has won an award. This year’s
event was attended by Professor Phyllis Eagle, Graphic Design department chair, Dr. Melany Kyzer,
Cultural and Communications division chair, Lauren Force and Olivia Wilson, both graphic design
students. It is a great networking event for graphic design, marketing, mass communication and
business majors seeking internships and career opportunities.

The ADDY Awards are the largest creative competition in the country with about 55,000 local
entries competing in 200 cities coast to coast. There are both professional and student level
competitions hosted at each district and celebrated at the award ceremony. SNU is so proud
of Lauren for this incredible accomplishment and looks forward to seeing all she continues
to accomplish!
