SNU has demonstrated remarkable success on the court this season, boasting an impressive 28-2 record in the regular season, finishing the season ranked 7th in the nation and 1st in the Central Region earning them the opportunity to host.  The team has consistently delivered outstanding performances. Their undefeated streak at home continues for the second straight season, with an impressive 26 consecutive home wins.  With the fifth-best scoring defense in the nation, the team’s defensive prowess has been a cornerstone of their success.

Individual achievements further highlight the team’s excellence. Hannah Giddey, a standout player for SNU, was named GAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year, marking the fifth time an SNU player has received this honor in the last six years. Lauryn Reither and Hannah Giddey have also been recognized with All-GAC First Team honors, while Emily Monaghan has earned an All-GAC Honorable Mention. Coach May’s leadership has also been recognized, as he was named GAC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year.

As anticipation mounts for the Regional Tournament, SNU fans eagerly await the opportunity to cheer on their team as they strive for a championship title. Join us in supporting the SNU Women’s Basketball team as they compete against the best in the Central Region.
