Career Transition Workshops
SNU VETS Center
Are you a veteran, transitioning service member, or a family member supporting one? Join us on Tuesday, February 17, from 5:00–8:00 pm at Southern Nazarene University in the Heritage Room in Webster Commons for our Vets Career Transition Workshop II, in coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) Career Transition Division.
This event is designed specifically for veterans, military spouses, and families: to help you feel prepared and confident for civilian job interviews.
Why Attend?
Transitioning from military to civilian work can be challenging. Many veterans are unsure of what to expect and how to prepare for civilian career interviews. Research shows workshops tailored for veterans significantly boost job-search confidence and clarity.

Get expert guidance on interview skills and etiquette.
-
Learn what employers across industries value most—and how to frame your experience accordingly.
-
Walk away with actionable tools for the job-hiring process: how to prepare, how to network, how to stand out.
-
Connect with fellow veterans, hiring practitioners, and career transition resources.
-
Enjoy light finger foods and a relaxed networking environment.
