[Bethany, Oklahoma] - Southern Nazarene University (SNU) is proud to recognize employee Perry Diehm, who was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (OASFAA). Diehm has worked for SNU’s Financial Aid office for nearly 9 years. He currently serves as the Director of Professional and Graduate Studies Financial Assistance, a position he has held since December 2017.
Diehm received the award at the 2025 OASFAA Conference, which was held in Tulsa, OK, from April 9 to 11. The annual conference features speakers, training sessions, exhibitors, networking, and entertainment. The Distinguished Service Award was created in 1985 and honors a current financial aid professional and OASFAA member working at an educational institution who has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the Association, the financial aid profession, or the advancement of financial aid in Oklahoma.
“I am honored to receive the 2025 Distinguished Service Award from my friends and colleagues at the Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators,” says Diehm. “It is gratifying to receive an award from people who perform the same functions as I do each day. I enjoy the teaching and mentoring spirit that exists within the OASFAA community.”
