SNU Celebrates Perfect NCLEX Pass Rate for Nursing Graduates

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[Bethany, Okla.] - Southern Nazarene University (SNU) has announced a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates from the Class of 2026.

The NCLEX is the standardized licensure exam used to determine whether nursing graduates are qualified to practice as registered nurses. This computerized adaptive test measures candidates' ability to apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and nursing knowledge in patient-care situations. For reference, the national first-time pass rate for U.S.-educated NCLEX-RN candidates in 2025 was 86.7%.

Dr. Carol Dorough, chair of the School of Nursing, reflects on the graduates' achievement.

"The nursing program is demanding, and the School of Nursing is proud of the hard work done by these students to meet the challenges. All 2026 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates had either been hired or offered an RN position prior to graduation."

The following 2026 SNU nursing graduates successfully passed the NCLEX and are now ready to begin their career as registered nurses.
