Office of University Relations
The Office of University Relations exists to inspire, engage, and serve Alumni, friends, and financial partners of Southern Nazarene University in order to strengthen their connections with the University. The office strives to develop and enhance relationships through events such as Homecoming, class reunions, Alumni gatherings, and scholarship celebrations with our Alumni and donors.
The three arms of the University Relations Department are the Office of Advancement (fundraising), the Office of Alumni Relations, and the Office of Advancement Services (record keeping, gift receipting, and reporting). We welcome alumni and friends to campus, look for ways to involve alumni in campus life, and are excited to advance the mission of SNU through fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship of gifts.
The Office of Alumni Affairs maintains communication and connection with SNU for former students and graduates. The Alumni staff facilitates SNU alumni events such as Homecoming, Class Reunions, and Regional Gatherings, as well as alumni communication online, through social media and in-print publications.
Acting as the fund-raising arm of the university, SNU’s advancement and advancement services team work with the university’s financial partners.
