College Day Gives Prospective Students Firsthand Look at SNU

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

[Bethany, Okla.] — On Thursday, October 8, 2026, Southern Nazarene University will host high school students for College Day, a two-hour on-campus event designed to give visitors a sneak peek into life at SNU. The morning will give prospective students a firsthand look at the university, with opportunities to learn about campus resources, explore campus on a guided tour, and connect with current SNU students.

Open to high school students in their junior or senior years, College Day allows attendees to dig deeper into the SNU experience while also discovering the many ways students can get involved. Programming will include information about student leadership positions, campus activities, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Students interested in joining one of SNU’s musical ensembles will also have the option to audition during the event.

Dr. Steve Betts, Vice President for Enrollment and Student Success, says, “We are excited to welcome prospective students and their families to SNU's campus for College Day. This is a great opportunity to learn more about SNU's mission, academic offerings, and campus life. Students and families will also have the opportunity to speak with a New Student Financial Aid Manager to learn how affordable SNU can be. We look forward to meeting and visiting with each family.”

Registration for College Day is open until October 6, 2026. To find out more or register online, visit snu.edu/undergraduate-admissions/events/preview-day.
